Arc The Lad: Kishin Fukkatsu (アークザラッド 機神復活, lit. Arc The Lad: Resurrection of the Machine God), is a tactical role playing game released in 2002, for the WonderSwan Color, also supporting the SwanCrystal. Developed by TOSE and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., and published by Bandai, this game is a spin-off, taking place three years after Arc The Lad III, focusing on the exploits of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future, coming back to the past to stop and defeat Grolgalde.

Plot

500 years from now, mechanical soldiers have taken over the surface world and pushed mankind to life in the depths of the underground. As a last resort to prevent this situation from happening, a few of the last surviving humans decide to travel back in time to defeat the leader of the machines... Grogalde. A young girl named Finia is the last hope of this dwindling civilization, being forced into the time machine as she witnesses her friends and family be killed by the rampaging Grogalde. Her goal in mind, she proceeds in her journey, having no time to dwell on grief.
