Choco (ちょこ), also known as Choko in Working Designs' English translation, is a recurring character in the Arc The Lad series. To date, she is the character with the most amount of appearances, appearing in every Arc the Lad game released to date.
First appearing as a secret character in Arc The Lad, she would go on to appear in each of its sequels, with each game revealing that she has many hidden secrets, such as the village where she was raised, her second self, as well as having the power to live for hundreds of years.
Appearance[]
Choco is a young girl with golden brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair is tied in two ponytails with yellow bows, with some left hanging around her face.
Her outfit is a white and yellow dress with shorts underneath and a reddish orange shawl-like garment wrapped around her shoulders and tied in the front with string. She has a giant dark pink bow tied in the back of her dress as well. She wears frilly baby pink socks and brown shoes that appear more red in her earlier artwork.
The only time Choco has any notable appearance changes is in Arc The Lad R, where instead of a giant pink bow on the back of her dress, it's now a yellow bow with white polka dots. The bows in her hair are polka dotted as well, and she's wearing white gloves with golden star designs. Her outfit is now accented with white pom-poms, including on her socks, which are now dark pink instead of a light baby pink.

- Her name is romanized in the English versions of Arc The Lad , II, and III as Choko, despite many official Japanese works and merch having her name romanized as Choco. They fixed this in Twilight of the Spirits and End of Darkness.
